Birmingham Museum of Art

Hands down the largest and coolest art gallery in Birmingham is the Birmingham Museum of Art. The gallery is open Tuesday thru Saturday from 10 am to 5 pm and Sunday from noon to 5 pm. The gallery also offers plenty of parking and is a great place for a family outing, especially for those with kids. Permanently housing thousands of iconic pieces of art, as well as hosting many traveling exhibits, this museum has become a must see for any tourist visiting Birmingham. Jennifer Harwell Art Gallery
Location: 1901 6th Avenue North, Birmingham
Named after the late artists Jennifer Harwell, this gallery serves as a tribute to her memory, as well as her artwork. The gallery features a wide array of inspired art; including glassware, wine covers, print art, and much more. Perhaps some of the most well known art inspired by Mrs. Harwell is her sports art, and more specifically her Crimson Collection. The Crimson Collection is a must have for every Alabama fan.
