Over the years, I’ve had many issues with my acne- prone skin. I have battled my oily skin for years. If my skin’s not oily, then it’s extremely dry. This doesn’t make for a good combination.
When my skin is dry, it gets a ruddy red look. This is not an appealing look for me. Therefore, I have many years of experience in trying and using different face products.
I want to share with you some of my favorite beauty products and some tips that I hope will help you.
The first tip is not to rub your face. When you wash your face, be very gentle and use a light touch. The second tip is when you dry off your face, pat it, and don’t rub it.
Being in my 50’s, I thought my acne days were over. Wrong on all counts. If I get lazy and don’t wash my face good enough, then I have to deal with acne and sometimes the redness comes back.
One of my favorite products is called Yves Rocher Pure System Cleanser. This is for acne- prone skin. This purifies the skin and clears out the pores in my face. This product is soap-free and paraben-free. I also like this product because Yves Rocher doesn’t test on animals and they don’t use any animal ingredients. When I use their products the way I’m supposed to, my face clears up and looks normal. I put it on and let it sit for a few moments, then gently wash it off with water and pat my face with a soft towel.
I also use the Simple Moisturizing Facial Wash. This comes in a big tube and has no perfumes in it. This product also has no animal derived ingredients in it. This is very good if you have sensitive skin.
My face also responds well to the Avani Dead Sea facial peel. I use this once a month to remove the old skin. It makes your face feel fresh and new.
When my face feels and looks dry, I like to use the Yves Rocher Pure Calmille Day and Night cream. It smells absolutely wonderful. It has coconut oil and chamomilla flower extract in it.
Suave body lotion is another good product. I like to use that on my face also. Use a little bit at a time. Be gentle on your face and may you look your best.
