There are a lot of job websites where you can look to find employment. While some of them may work better than others, you still have the opportunity to get your name out. Here are a few of the different job websites that are hired by employers that need hard, dependable workers.
Indeed.com- Indeed is one of the more popular job search engines, however there are mixed reviews about it. While a lot of employers use it, it can be difficult to go through the process of applying to some of the jobs, as you may have to create a profile and a resume for the site itself, and then apply separately for the specific jobs you are looking for. If you are trying to job search online, though, it may be one of the better websites to create an account with, as they will notify you about available jobs in your area when they get them. There are also forums that you can read and discuss in.
Monster.com – While monster.com used to be one of the leading job search engines, there are others that have jeopardize that, by becoming more user friendly and updating job openings that employers may have given up on using monster with. It is still, however, one of the more popular ones and has a fairly wide variety of jobs available to apply for in a lot of different categories.
Craigslist – Craigslist is one of the better ones, if you can weed through the spam. There are hundreds of different job listings that you can easily refine the search to the specific area that you live in. As well as other attributes, you can also search for other things that aren’t job related on here as well.
Linkup.com -This site allows you to search for jobs on company sites. It targets small, medium and large company websites of companies looking to hire and they are updated whenever the site is.
Simply Hired – Searches thousands of job classifieds and includes the specific types of jobs, companies, keywords and the dates that the ads were posted. This site is good for a refined search, as the user is able to rate the job he or she is interested in, check out available salaries to jobs and get pretty specific details about the job.
