The night was a symphony of lights.
Billions of twinkling lights strummed across the sky.
They put on a show like no other.
I relished at the site of them. Majestic is what they were.
Every night I was fortunate to see this sight.
It was always beautiful.
Billions of spotlights lined the sky, all shining for
the world to see.
The best part was when the moon joined in.
It performed its very own solo; each dance different
throughout the month.
I never missed it.
Who can miss a symphony like this one?
The moon illuminated and danced while the
stars played along.
They painted a galactic picture.
I wanted to touch this painting.
I wanted to capture it for myself.
I took a ton of pictures and videos but nothing was better
than seeing it in person.
The stars seemed to shine brighter when they had an audience.
They performed each night as though it was their last.
Nothing could out do this majestic show in the sky.
Fireworks were candles compared to their beauty.
Tonight’s show was especially beautiful.
Tonight was the meteor shower.
Meteor showers were grand but they saddened me.
My majestic stars were falling out of the sky.
Their light was leaving.
I cried a while. I couldn’t help how I felt.
But then I thought about the new stars
that would replace them.
Out with the old and in with the new.
The newer stars seemed to be a little bit brighter.
They smiled upon the world a little more.
Yes, night was my favorite time of day.
There’s so much beauty then.
The stars and moon perform for me and millions of others.
They captivate the eyes of everyone who sees them.
This is what I love to see.
This is what makes me happy.
