Being overweight is something that is a struggle for people every day. I have lost 90 pounds with reduced portions in past years, but recently I signed up for an Atkins Free Quick Start Kit. I have received the Free Quick-Start Kit from Atkins and three Free Atkins Bars; this program has really helped me lose the extra weight that has been hanging around and refuses to let go.
Two weeks ago I weighed in at 195. Yes, even after loosing the initial 90 pounds, I still barely broke under the 200-pound mark. A reduced portion diet along with exercise has not been enough I have been unable to loose any extra pound or ounce. Atkins helped cure the hunger and even smoothed out the digestive system.
This kit came with a Carb Counter Booklet that really helped me count down my three main meals of the day. Today, instead of going to the vending machine at work I grab an Atkins Snack Bar instead. Atkins even makes a breakfast bar which really makes a great start to the metabolism beginning the day rather than eating nothing for breakfast in the morning. I have always been notorious for skipping out on breakfast. Since I have been munching down on an Atkins Breakfast Bar in the morning, I feel better and more energized. I have also noticed by eating breakfast in the morning I do not eat as much for lunch and supper which may also be helping with the weight loss.
Along with reduced portions, breakfast bars by Atkins, and snack bars by Atkins, I have been doing some minimal exercise. I agree we should always try to find a good work-out routine that works for you but I have yet to find the motivation I have for eating healthy in an exercise routine. There are some things I have been trying to enforce in my life that may have helped with my weight loss. I drive to my employment but I try to park as far away as I feel comfortable so I have to take a few extra steps to enter the building. I have also stopped taking the elevator and started taking the stairs when I have to complete business on multiple floors in the building. Even if it means taking minimal steps in starting to make your body healthy, it is always better than doing nothing at all.
