The Lego theme is a popular one, especially with the recent Lego Movie. Since party favors are common for kids’ parties, you’ll want some ideas with a Lego theme. Here are some options for your little party guests.
Start with some Lego-themed containers to put all of the favors in. You can make your own very easily. Start with either a colorful gift bags or boxes that are large enough to hold the favors. Cut circles out of paper in the same color of each bag. Attach the circles in two rows on the boxes or bags to resemble a Lego block.
You’ll need a Lego ice cube tray for this party favor idea. You’ll also need some old crayons without their wrappers. Break the crayons into small pieces and place them in the sections of the ice cube tray. Melt the crayons in the microwave. When the crayons harden again, pop them out of the Lego ice cube trays. Put a few crayons in a cellophane bag for each party guest. Combine it with a Lego coloring book, or print out some Lego coloring pages to add to the gift.
If you have it in the party budget, give the guests some Lego blocks. You can buy a small Lego set for each guest. Or buy a large tub of blocks and some flat pieces for building on. Spell out each child’s name with the Lego blocks on the flat piece. Or spell out “Thank you” on the board.
Check out the Lego section of your favorite toy store. You will likely find some other items other than Lego blocks. You might find little Lego guys, necklaces or key chains. Choose one or two of these other items either by themselves or to go along with other Lego favors.
Primary Colored Items
Another direction to go with the Lego party favors is to stick with the primary colors of the building blocks. Fill a cellophane bag with M&Ms or gumballs in those colors. Or make bead necklaces using the colors of Lego blocks.
