Lean Cuisine Macaroni and Cheese comes in a black plastic container that has a plastic film over it. The meal fits inside a rectangular box similar to other lean cuisine meals, so they fit nicely in the freezer. In the container is pretty standard looking elbow macaroni and cheese.
This is easy to make. Cut a hole in the film to vent. Microwave for 3 minutes. Stir. Microwave another minute and a half. Let cool for 2 minutes in microwave and then enjoy. I usually condense these steps and just microwave for 4.5 minutes. I have not noticed any ill effects to doing this.
There is not much to say about the taste. It is pretty bland and looks better than it tastes. I have found that if I add some salt and pepper that it perks it up a bit. I really think that they could make this meal taste better. One thing I will point out. The ingredients state that this meal contains blue cheese flavor but I could not detect this at all. I did not know it had this before I bought it and I might not have because I hate blue cheese and am a little allergic to it as well. I did not detect this flavor and did not have any allergy issues so it must be so slight that it was not a factor for me.
Does the Packaging match the Product
With this Lean Cuisine, they do a good job of matching the photo on the box to what you actually get in the box.
Does the meal fill me up
One thing I have noticed with the Lean Cuisine meals is that some of them seem more filling than others. I am not sure if it has to do with something specific in the meals or if it’s just me. The Lean Cuisine Macaroni and Cheese is relatively satisfying for it’s 280 calories.
