Late night in La Verne is not the same as late night in other areas. We roll up our sidewalks pretty early, so most late night places close around 10 p.m., but if you look around, you can find one that’s open later. Here are a few of my favorites.
House of wings sportsbar – Located at 2317 D St, La Verne, CA (909) 596-4466
Hours of operation – open until 1:00 am
Price range is $11 – $30
They offers online orders for pickup and delivery
One of their specialties, according to reviews, is the Irish nachos. With their first location known as California Wings Cafe in Hollywood, their expertise has been developing since 2005. You can also enjoy their Happy Hour M-F 3-5pm; Saturday 8-12; Sunday ALL DAY!
Cafe X20 – Located at 2445 Foothill Blvd, La Verne, CA 91750 (909) 593-7873
This is a Mediterranean, Hookah Bar, Wine Bar
Hours of Operation: 11:00 am – 12:00 am Closed Mondays
Price range is from $11 – $30. With a great wine selection and have a 5-Star rating by some this place claims to have fabulous Middle Eastern foods with the Lamb being highly recommended. Their Hookah is said to be FANTASTIC!
Mr. D’s Diner – Located at 919 Foothill Blvd, La Verne, CA (9909) 593-0111
Previously a Denny’s this place is great for traditional burgers.
Hours of Operation: – 5:50 am – 10:00 pm with the exception of Sunday, they open at 7:00 am
You can order take-out if you like, enjoy outdoor seating, there are televisions to enjoy but if your looking for a place that serves alcohol, you won’t find it here.
The food is said to be great with reasonable prices with a very polite and pleasant staff. The food is claimed to be a definite improvement over it’s predecessor and you are encouraged to give it a try.
Warehouse Pizza – Located at 2340 D St, La Verne, CA (909) 593-2714
Hours of Operation: 11:00 am – 10:00 pm with the exception of closing at 11:00 pm on Friday and 9:00 pm on Sunday. This place makes pizza like pizza should taste. A great place for the kids as well, with video games, basketball toss and more. You won’t miss a sporting event here with all the TV’s around and if you enjoy the outdoors, covered outdoor seating is available.
You can always find a Santana’s or an In-N-Out as well as other “fast food” places, but for larger places where your order is taken by a waitress, you might want to give these a try.
