Pete’s Kitchen- Pete’s Kitchen is located at 1962 E Colfax Ave, in Denver, CO. They are open seven days a week, 24 hours a day, ready to serve the city insomniacs. In 2004, 5280 Magazine rated them as having the best breakfast burrito and hash browns in town. They have your typical diner-style menu, with a variety of breakfast items like omelets, corned beef hash, and steak and eggs. They serve lunch items as well, with a variety of different burgers and sandwiches to choose from. They also have a few non-traditional items to spice up their menu like gyros and chicken kabobs. Pete Contos, the owner, owns several other restaurants in Denver as well. Though the others aren’t open 24 hours, they are all open late and most stay open past midnight.
Jerusalem Restaurant- Not all late night food has to be your typical American-style diner. If you are looking for some late night ethnic food, then the Jerusalem Restaurant is for you. They are located at 1890 East Evans Street in Denver. They stay open until 4:00 A.M., Sunday through Thursday, and 5:00 A.M. on Friday and Saturday. They offer an extensive menu of traditional Middle Eastern cuisine, with a variety of vegetarian options available as well. At around $12 an entrée, this late night restaurant is classy and affordable.
Tacos Rapidos- Tacos Rapidos has to be one of the best taco places in Denver. It’s fast, cheap, open 24 hours, and provides some of the best-tasting quick Mexican food you can get. They are located at 2800 West Evans Avenue in Denver. They have a variety of items for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Stay true to your roots and try out the Colorado Burrito. In 2011, they were voted Best 24/7 Restaurant, in Westword’s Best of Denver.
Tom’s Diner- Tom’s Diner is open 24 hours and serves a variety of traditional American foods. With thick creamy milkshakes, greasy fried chicken, and traditional grilled cheeses, it’s the perfect place to wind down after a late night on the town, or to nurse your morning hangover. They are located at 601 East Colfax, in Denver and have free parking on-site, which is definitely a perk in the city.
