Are you lactose intolerant? Do you miss out on some of the delicious treats because you can’t digest the lactose in milk? Well, there are now some easy ways around that. Here is a recipe for a very healthy Chocolate Peanut Butter Smoothie made with very little effort.
8 oz Lactaid Milk
I tsp all natural peanut butter
1 tsp unsweetened cocoa powder
4 drops vanilla extract
1 packet of stevia
4-6 ice cubes
1) Place ice cubes in the bottom of the blender
2) Add the other ingredients except for the milk.
3) Pour milk over the other ingredients. It is important to do it in this order because the cocoa powder can just fly to the top of the blender if place in over the milk. Do not put the peanut butter in first because it can stick to the blades of the blender and prevent the ingredients from mixing.
4) Begin by pulsing the mixture in the blender until all ingredients are thoroughly mixed. Then set to “frappe” setting or the highest setting for about 20 seconds. Serve in a large glass.
