The article “How the GOP Can Reach Out to Black America” describes the GOP’s propaganda attempts to win a few votes out of their non-inclusive top 1% chums.
It states “If you want a sense of how much black voters dislike the GOP, consider this: Both Mitt Romney and John McCain scored single digits with blacks, 6 percent and 4 percent, respectively.
The last time this happened, it was 1964 and the Republican presidential nominee-Arizona Sen. Barry Goldwater-had pledged his opposition to the bulk of the Civil Rights Act, driving blacks out of the party just four years after they gave Richard Nixon a sizable minority in his presidential bid.”
How can you comment on that? “Tricky Dick” having an ability to reach out to minorities-what a joke– it was as substantial as his secret plan to end the Vietnam war.
Back in 2012 the GOP thought they had a plan. They’d get an actual black guy as a presidential candidate. They have done it before, but it never worked out. The guys they found turned out to be empty suits, shills for a phony scam.
The article “Is Herman Cain’s 9-9-9 tax plan fair?” described a propagandist who ran on the core of the GOP’s political existence – scamming the 99% out of taxes while simultaneously giving the top 1% huge tax cuts.
The article states “Herman Cain’s standing in the polls in the race for the Republican presidential nomination has risen with the popularity of his 9-9-9 tax plan, which has become a signature issue for the former pizza company executive….”And it’ll save all of us, collectively, $430 billion a year that we spend to fill out the stupid tax code – 9-9-9,” Cain said at a speech in Washington last week.
Not so fast, say tax experts from all parts of the political spectrum. While Cain’s plan has an appealing simplicity to Americans frustrated with the nation’s labyrinthine tax system, it would dump a much heavier tax burden on low-income citizens.”
If you are a low income citizen and a politician increases your taxes while giving the fat cats a break you have reason to dislike that politician, in this case Cain who the GOP hoped will increase their non-inclusive tent.
The GOP always talks about the GOP inclusive big-tent. That sounds like something “Tricky Dick” would come up with.
The GOP might have a successor for Herman Cain as the article “Ben Carson, doctor of division” illustrates. This guy will learn how to speak in more a more nuanced manner.
Regarding President Obama’s USA the article has this about Dr. Carson “He’s a celebrity because he drives the very divisions he claims to abhor. In his hour-long presentation, he invoked Marx twice and Lenin once to describe liberals – “the enemies,” he called them – and their effort to stifle debate. “This stuff is straight out of the neo-Marxist liturgy. Saul Alinsky, one of his rules for radicals: Don’t have a conversation.”
The article’s author pretends to have a dialog with Dr. Carson as the article states “Fine, let’s have a conversation, doctor. Let’s talk about the use of the term “Nazi Germany” to describe present-day America. “In a very appropriate context, I said most of those people in Nazi Germany did not believe in what Hitler was doing,” Carson said Wednesday. “But did they open their mouths? No.”
Dr. Carson was told to backtrack from that but the article describes that he didn’t succeed as it states “Okay, but that’s not what Carson actually said in February. “You know,” he told Newsmax, “we live in a Gestapo age. People don’t realize it.” He cited an IRS audit of his finances.”
The GOP doesn’t have an inclusive big tent. They can run white guys or people of a racially diverse nature-it doesn’t matter. If you’re not in the top 1% you’re not in their plans.
