There are a lot of rumors that Brock Lesnar will return to SummerSlam again. After all is not an impossible idea. He has wrestled in the last two SummerSlams and has a record of 2-0. First he defeated Triple H and then CM Punk. This year the rumors were that he would face Daniel Bryan for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. However, Daniel Bryan is injured and is difficult that he faces Brock Lesnar at SummerSlam. The question is: what are the three possible opponents for Brock Lesnar at SummerSlam.
1) John Cena. John Cena is the possible winner of the Money in the Bank Ladder Match for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. It is true that we are tired of John Cena reigns but if WWE plans on giving the title to Brock Lesnar then it should be someone who has won the title so many times that he will not suffer if Lesnar beats him. The same cannot be said with the young talent like Roman Reigns, Cesaro and Bray Wyatt. If they win the title and lost it in only one month against Brock Lesnar then it would be bad for their careers and they don’t deserve that. John Cena is the perfect temporary champion. The reality is that at the end of the year Bryan should have the title again.
2) Randy Orton. He is another established guy. He has won the title so many times that is boring. He is the second most likely to win the Money in the Bank Ladder Match for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. The problem is that both Lesnar and Orton are heels. Heels matches are very boring. It was like the original plan for WrestleMania 30: Batista vs Orton, two heels. Fortunately Daniel Bryan was added and the rest is history.
3) Sheamus. Sheamus is another established guy and he likes to fight. He has a lot of brawling skills and can be a great opponent for Lesnar. After all, he is a great worker and he deserves it. The problem is that he is the US Champion so is he is one of the main candidates to win the Money in the Bank Ladder Match for the Intercontinental Championship then he should drop the US Championship to someone else.
In conclusion, if WWE bring Brock Lesnar for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship then John Cena is the perfect opponent for him. After all, John Cena can take a clean loss because he almost never loses so that shouldn’t affect his career.
