July 4th is approaching quickly and now is the time to start preparing your goodies. If you are having a party for the 4th and will have kids attending, it would be a good idea to give out goodie bags for the kids. This is a way to include the kids in the party and to also make them happy little kiddies. If you need some ideas for 4th of July goodies bags, take a look at the ideas in this article.
When you make goodie bags for the fourth of July, you must include fireworks. The goodie bags wouldn’t be the same without the fireworks. For smaller kids, use fireworks such as sparklers or the pops. For older kids, you could go with the bottle rockets and firecrackers. Just make sure that smaller kids have adult supervision when playing with their fireworks.
You should also consider including party favors in the goodie bags. You can find the party favors at just about any store, but the Dollar Tree has quite a bit to choose from. You could buy a few different packs of favors and spread them out evenly in the bags. You normally get anywhere from three to 10 items in the party favor packs.
Don’t forget the candy! Goodie bags aren’t any fun if you forget the candy. So make sure you pick up a few different types of candy to put in the bags. If you would prefer cookies or chips, you could buy the small bags of these and place them in the goodie bags.
You may have to make two different types of goodie bags depending on the ages of the kids. You may have to make one type for older kids and one type for the smaller ones. Sometimes it’s not a good idea to give fireworks and some party favors to the smaller kids due to getting burned or choking on a small party favor. If you are on a budget, check out the Dollar Tree for all of your needs. They have a great selection and I love to buy my goodie bag items and other things from there.
