As a person who has attended over a dozen hypnosis sessions, I love writing about this subject and informing people about this powerful and ancient art. In this article I interview (again) my personal hypnotherapist Mr. Igor, who is always happy to answer my questions.
Hello Mr. Igor, what a beautiful day today for a “Hypnosis Interview”!
“Yes, indeed Maria the weather is nice. Go ahead and ask me anything you want about hypnosis. I will allow up to 3 questions this time!”
OK Mr. Igor, first I want to ask a question that pops up in many people’s minds when they are thinking about trying hypnosis. Is hypnosis safe? And can a hypnotist make me do things beyond my will?
“That’s two questions! Well, I understand that many people are afraid of hypnosis but apart from being safe hypnosis is also a foolproof way to connect your conscious and subconscious mind. This will bring you to a higher level of existence and your awareness will increase tremendously. Then and only then you will understand how and why it is impossible for a hypnotherapist to control a person beyond his/her will…”
Alright, I am pretty satisfied with this answer. On to the next question; I want to ask you; what is hypnosis in simple words (that average people will understand)?
“Hypnosis is a great way to bring your soul and your heart together. In this state you are capable of doing many wonderful things by only using your mind. Although hypnosis comes from the Greek word “hypnos” which means “sleep” the treated person is not really sleeping. I would say he/she enters an artificial state of sleep. In this state remarkable things (like a cure or pain relief) can happen…”
Great. Now my last question Mr. Igor, Can you tell me what health issues have you resolved through your hypnosis sessions with your patients?
“I work as a hypnotherapist for quite some time and I can mention a lot of health issues that we (therapist + patient) cured. Hypnosis can be used for a variety of situations. For example I remember a patient with rheumatoid arthritis. We totally eliminated the sense of pain. Another example is pregnant women. In this case our aim is to reduce pain to the minimum. Many women came to me for this reason. I also remember another successful case. A patient with ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder). I can go on and on so I would rather stop here by saying that hypnosis sessions could bring results to any health situation. Yes, it is possible.”
Thank you Mr. Igor! You’ve been amazing once more.
“It was a pleasure talking to you Maria.”
End of Interview.
