This is my personal weight loss story. It may not work for everyone, but I definitely think you should give it a try. Especially if you have exhausted most if not all other avenues. My weight soared to an unruly 250 pounds of unhappiness. I tried everything from Xenedrine to Atkins, yoga, and green tea to name a few.
A massage therapist friend of mine recommended I try hydrotherapy. I had never heard of it but willing to try anything. So she helped me do this treatment in the privacy of my own home.
She told me what items I needed to be able to do it myself. It consisted of two blankets, a flannel sheet, large body towel, a space blanket, and essential oils.
This treatment is a body wrap utilizing essential oils for weight loss. The essential oils can vary but I chose grapefruit, ginger, and eucalyptus (2 drops of each).
I did this treatment twice a week for 5 months. It does use heat, therefore you only do it 25 minutes. So basically you take the two blankets and place them on a bed or treatment table (I used a bed), put the space blanket silver side up on top of them. Next add 2 drops each of your essential oils to very hot water. This temperature should be between 105 and 115 degrees Fahrenheit. Next soak your flannel sheet and body towel in the water. Wring the sheet out and place on the space blanket, without clothing lay face up. Wrap the blanket around you (you might need a little help), place the body towel (also wrung out a little) over that sheet. Now wrap all the way up, the space blanket followed by the first two blankets. You should look something like a burrito.
I didn’t change the food I ate as much as how much of it I consumed. Initially I only lost body weight, but only after about a month I started losing real weight and inches.
It has been about a year now, I weigh 160 pounds, and I’m much happier and feel so much better about myself. I wish I had tried this a long time ago. Just remember being over weight is hard, frustrating and very depressing. The persistence will pay of in the end.
