- 1 1/3 cups of flour
- 1/2 teaspoon of baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon of salt
- 1 tsp of cream of tartar
- 1/2 cup of unsalted butter at room temperature
- 3/4 of a cup of sugar
- 1 egg
- 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract
- Ground cinnamon
Step 1 – Preheat your oven to 350 degrees. Also, line your baking pan with parchment paper.
Step 2 – In a large bowl, combine your sugar and butter and stir with a large spoon until creamy. Add in an egg and your vanilla extract and mix until creamy. Then, combine all of your dry ingredients and mix them together.
Step 3 – In a separate bowl, combine your ground cinnamon and 1/4 of sugar and gently mix them together.
Step 4 – Take a small ice-cream scoop and use it to make tablespoon-sized balls with your cookie dough. Roll each ball in your cinnamon and sugar mixture until fully coated. Then, place them on your baking pan. Be sure to place them 2-3 inches apart because they will expand in the oven.
Step 5 – Bake your cookies for 15-18 minutes. Let them cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes, and then transfer them to a wire rack to cool completely. Enjoy!
