Distributing party flyers gets the word out quickly about your event but if you want to spark some interest you need a good one. With a few supplies, you can make a party flyer that will provide your intended guest with all the information they need to plan to attend. Whether you need quarter-sheet flyers or a full page, design the advertisement in a way that will inspire your guests to attend. Before you begin, make a list of the date, time, location, and reason for party and any other details you feel you should include. You don’t want a crew of friends to arrive too late to compete in a costume contest
Make a Celebration Flyer by Hand
With your list, a pencil, pen and a piece of plain white paper, get to work on your flyer. In the center of the page, draw a small icon or picture that denotes the type of party you are having. For example, for a birthday, make a party flyer with a cake picture in the center of the page. Write the date and time at the top of the page and any other details like what to bring at the bottom of the page. I recommend using a pencil first, then drawing over the pencil with a pen. You’ll need to take your flyer to printer to get the flyers printed or you could scan the flyer into your computer and print your party flyer from there.
Make a Party Flyer with a Computer
Open your favorite graphics program or word processor and create a file named “Party Flyer.” I recommend that you set the “Page Setup” on the “Portrait” layout. Choose a theme from your templates or create your own by selecting the appropriate graphics. Place the graphics in the center of the page and arrange your text. (You could also place your picture on the page.) Consult your list and add the info there to the party flyer. Save the file and print as many as you need. Use bright colored paper to really grab attention.
Other Ways to Make a Party Flyer
Another way to make a party flyer is to find one similar to the one you need on the Internet. There are tons of free templates you can create online and even some that you can print and just add the info with a pen. That’s it!
