Have you ever saw an advertisement for a free television or a ticket to a local event and then realized you could only get one if you went to their presentation about a time share? Well you probably will want to avoid such an offer, but if you choose to try and tough it out here are some tips to keep you alive and awake through the whole thing.
First, Make absolutely certain there is a time limit posted on the flier. If there is no time limit do not go. Because they will and have the ability to keep you there until you either break down and leave, or buy whatever they are offering. Be careful as well because nothing that they will be trying to sell you will be worth the price.
The next thing you want to do is keep a watch on you at all times. When you go in to listen to their spiel, you will need that watch. They will always go over the time limit, so make sure you wait an extra five to fifteen minutes. Then stand up and ask for your prize. They will deny it and try to continue, but that’s when you have to turn on your inner toddler. Keep saying that you want it, keep making a louder a louder noise. If the insistent yet calm does not seem to work start getting mad. Start screaming at them, but do not personally attack them, or do anything that could be considered assault. Just keep shouting about how you want what your product and you want it now, do not be shy. Your almost insane presents shouting almost mindlessly about how you want your “gift”.
Other people at the time share will either think you are insane, brilliant, or get up and start doing the same. This will make the people in charge of the time share start to fear you, and realize that your presents could point all their hard “work” getting the rest of the people at the time share. This will either have them give you what they promised in order to get you out of there, or have them call the police.
If they try to get you to go into another room, refuse. Refuse until they give you the prize. On the other hand, if they try to leave you follow them. Keep shouting at the time share people they will eventually break.
If the police do arrive calmly tell them how they are refusing to hand over your property. Tell them that you fulfilled your part of the agreement, and you now want them to honor their contract. If the policeman has not been paid off by the timeshare they will agree with you. Then the timeshare will be forced to hand over your prize.
This is not an efficient way to get whatever the timeshare was offering. Instead it is mostly a way to relieve some stress by acting like a crazy person in public. And best of all, there is a chance you will get a great prize when everything is said and done.
