When people find out how much I accomplish is one day many of them ask me how I do it. They really don’t understand how I can get so much done but this article is going to tell you exactly how I do it. I have in the past been accused of using different types of drugs in order to do all that I do but I am here to tell you that I do not use any type of drug. Accomplishing everything has to be done on pure will power and personal strength. That is where the sense of accomplishment will come from and that will push you to accomplish even more.
For years I was a single mother with three children, I ran a business out of my home which I kept spotless. I had a very active social life, and I was the queen of saving money. I was involved in many community activities as well as very involved in church. I got up every morning at five am to prepare breakfast for my children and start work. I cleaned, did laundry, spent time with my children, and never stopped until I hit the bed at night.
Now things are a bit different, not easier, not harder, just different. I am married with a total of seven children, I still run a business from home, my house is much larger since my family is much larger, I still am in charge of all of the cleaning, laundry, meals, shopping, and bill paying. I still raise the children the majority of the time since my husband works a 12 hour shift at least 5 days a week. When he is off of work he does side jobs so he is very tired when he is home. I try to pick up the slack as much as I can by taking care of the animals, and the lawn.
Many people are going to read this and think I am crazy but for those who really want to know how it is all done, this article will help you a ton. Each morning when I wake up, I am thankful that I have another day, the kids may be whining or fighting but we are together and that is what matters. The best thing you can do when you get up each morning is change your attitude. Make sure you get up with a good attitude, be happy you have another day. After I get up, I have to set my mind to what needs to be done. This is best done by using lists. A list can be your best friend. Each evening make a list of what you need to accomplish the next day. Do as much as you possibly can. At the end of the day, move what you didn’t accomplish to a new list for the following day.
If you do this, you will find that you are accomplishing more and more each day. You will find you have more energy and you are focused. People will begin to look at you and say, “I don’t know how you do it!” Let me tell you, when that comes out of peoples mouths that is a great feeling. Try the lists for yourself and make sure to comment how they are working for you.
