Did you know that you can utilize your spare time on the Internet to earn some extra money? I use the following methods to make extra spending money online.
Sell on eBay
Ebay selling is a great way to make a few extra dollars. I suggest starting with your closet. Pick out those good quality items that you never wear anymore. List them on eBay and make some dough!
Another way to find items to sell online is to go to local thrift stores. Sift through the thrift store items and purchase those things you feel will turn a profit. Browse eBay’s “sold listings” first to find out what types of items sell particularly well.
If you are going the thrifting route, I highly recommend downloading the eBay app to your smartphone. The app enables you to look up items on-the-go, so you can figure out whether or not an item is worth anything.
If you enjoy writing and have a talent for it, you can use those talents to bring in some money. One way to make money by writing online is to start your own blog. To monetize your blog, you’ll need to set up advertisements using a program like Google AdSense. Of course, setting up ads on your blog is easy. The difficult part is getting readers! Make sure your content is intelligent and unique so that your blog attracts readers and keeps them hooked.
Take Online Surveys
You can make money online by expressing your opinion. OneOpinion.com is a site that provides surveys targeted specifically to you. A dollar amount is assigned to every survey. Once your OneOpinion account reaches $25, you get to “cash out” and they mail you a prepaid Visa gift card.
Another survey site I have used is called Swagbucks. On Swagbucks, you can take surveys, click on ads, or even simply use the Swagbucks search engine to earn points. Redeem those points for gift cards to places like Amazon, Best Buy, or Starbucks. You can even redeem your points for money in your PayPal account.
Please keep in mind that the above methods will not make you rich and are in no way a substitute for a full-time job.
