It is always a good idea to delete your history in Chrome when you have finished browsing on your RCA 7″ tablet. The last thing you need is someone picking up your tablet and going through your history. If you have this tablet and use Chrome to surf the internet, take a look at the steps below to delete your history in Chrome.
Loading Chrome on Your Android Tablet
The first step is to load Chrome on your android tablet if you don’t already have it open. You do not have to load any webpages, simply load the browser.
Opening Your History in Chrome
Now you will need to open your history in Chrome. On the right side of your browser, at the end of the address field, find the menu icon. This is the icon with three squares. Tap it and the menu will open. Find the History option in that menu and tap it as well. That will open a new tab and you will see all of your browser history in that tab.
Deleting Your History in Chrome on the RCA 7″ Tablet
There are two ways you can delete your history in Chrome on your RCA 7″ tablet. First, you can tap the X beside each site that you want to delete. When you tap the X beside a site you visited, it will automatically be deleted. You can also use the Clear Browsing Data link at the bottom of your History page. Tap that link and you will see a menu open. Tap all of the boxes of the items you want to clear and then tap the Clear button. That will remove everything you checked in the menu. You have the option of deleting your history, cache, cookies, passwords, and autofill data.
Once you have selected the Clear option, you will be returned to your Chrome browser. Any time you need to delete your history on your RCA 7″ tablet, repeat the steps above. It is quick to do and should be done often if other people use your tablet.
