The MacBook is a great and powerful machine that millions of people enjoy using. However, users might not always know the specifications of their computer. Today I will be showing you how you can check the specifications (specs) of your MacBook.
Step #1. Click on the apple drop down menu
Step #2. click on “About This Mac”.
Step #3. You will now be greeted to a pop up window that displays information such as your processor, R.A.M (which is memory), and other information about your computer.
Step #4. If you would like to dig even dipper into the specs, you can click the “More Info…” tab. Another window will open up that will include several tabs like the Display information, Storage, or memory.
The storage tab will show you how much storage you have in total and how much you have used. It will also break down your used storage into categories such as Movies, Music, Word Documents and etc.
The Memory tab will show you how much R.A.M you have in the 2 memory slots
So there you have it, its simple as that to check most of your MacBook specifications. This can be useful if you are planning on upgrading the storage or R.A.M.
