We often end up following a particular diet regime without tracking whether the diet is doing real good to our body or not. Let’s track few things to make changes to our diet if necessary.
1. Do you feel hungry or full most of the times?
If you feel hungry during the day at work or at home, it means that your diet is not sufficient. Add a banana and an apple in the afternoon and evening so that you are not sulking at dinner.
If you feel to-the-brim most of the day, then that means that you are stuffing yourself more than needed. Spread small meals in breakfast, lunch, snacks and dinner. Avoid too much oil.
2. Do you bloat often?
Our body bloats for both reasons – when you over-eat or when you eat less. If your stomach makes sounds, it means that your stomach is not full and has gastric problem.
Eat salads and corn to reduce the gastric problem. Otherwise, reduce on oily stuff, sweets and ice-creams.
3. Seasonal changes
In summer, eat more of fruits, salads, juices and fiber so that your body metabolism is active throughout the day.
In winter, eat more of rice, wheat, tea/milk, sesame and seasonal fruits/vegetables that restore heat in body.
In rainy season, eat less of citrus or sour food that can give rise to colds/ coughs etc.
Salads and water should be consumed in adequate amounts under all conditions for best diet results!
