I’m often told that I’m crazy for thinking I can enact positive change with my humble articles. I beg to differ. After all, someone convinced the whole world that the earth was round, didn’t they? The fact that the earth is round is common knowledge now. Still, it started with just one guy. Throughout history, there have been many people who made a difference through their own actions. One person really can change the world. Here’s how and why.
Your message is contagious.
The world is one big network of thoughts, energy and conversations. When you are enthusiastic and verbal about your cause, people really do listen. Consider the fact that, in business, word of mouth is the most effective advertising. You talk to a few people. Each of them talks to a few more people and before you know it, your cause gains popularity.
Your vibrations will be felt.
Believe what you want, conversation is not the only thing you put out over the world network. Your aura goes further than your body. When you project positivity, it’s felt by everyone around you. Your energy and enthusiasm can promote your cause by passing from person to person, just like your words do.
Your determination and relentlessness invokes believability and confidence.
Believe in yourself and your cause. We all know that self respect begets respect from others. It’s the same way with causes. The more you believe in the causes you promote, the more likely it is that other people will be convinced to make changes. You can create a whole chain of positive change just by confidently projecting your own convictions.
Voting with your behavior.
If you’re tired of seeing certain things happen in the world, don’t buy into them. If you want more organic food produced, buy more organic food. If you want that food to be cheaper, do the same. Products are consumer driven. Whatever you buy the most of will be what manufacturers produce. After all, who wants to produce a product that nobody buys? It just makes sense.
You can always change your own world.
Your world is your reality. While it’s true that the entire universe is a pretty big place to be, your own universe is a bit smaller. Start there. Who knows how far outward your causes will grow? Don’t sit around silent with all those big ideas in your head. If you feel you know of a behavior or product that can change the world, go for it. After all, you have the same amount of time Einstein, Newton and Tesla had. Use it well. Who knows what will come of it.
