Working in a drug rehab program has helped me meet amazing people from all different walks of life. The funny thing about addiction is the fact that it affects both the rich and the poor, the attractive and the ugly, and everybody else in between. In other words, addiction doesn’t discriminate.
That being said, although some people make very bad decisions while they are under the influence or searching for the influence of the drugs, it doesn’t change the fact that they are great people inside. Everybody has their own struggles and one of the ones I have seen take over more than any other is opiates. A lot of people start using pain medication as a short term fix for a specific pain or ailment they may be experiencing , and many had no idea about the slippery slope their doctor was sending them down by prescribing them opiate pain medication. The problem with pain meds is the fact that they are almost impossible to withdrawal from cold turkey, and that’s where kratom comes into play.
Kratom is a plant that has been used for hundreds of years throughout Thailand and other Asian countries. The plant has been noted for its medicinal effects for quite sometime and this knowledge is just now becoming popular in the United States.
While some people use kratom recreationally, others use it for pain, for energy, and even sleep as well. The list goes on and on when you start talking about the benefits of kratom and while working at my drug rehab facility I have came across its best benefit yet!
Kratom can be used in place of heroin, morphine, oxycodone, or any other opiate while trying to “get clean”. Since it affects some of the same receptors in the brain like morphine, it makes the withdrawal process so much easier for any former addict.
Everyone I have seen use kratom to replace an illicit drug has succeeded. That is saying a lot considering that I now know over 100 people that have successfully quit an opiate using kratom alone.
This speaks wonders if you know anyone who has been addicted to an opiate or pain medication in the past, because usually the story is the same with these people. They try to quit, and then relapse. Kratom solves this problem!
If you know anyone who is addicted to one of these illicit drugs you should definitely tell them to look into kratom!
