Orlando is known for theme parks, nearby beaches, and balmy weather, but that’s not all that’s hot in O’Town. Here’s a list of Orlando’s best shoe boutiques, which offer something for everyone.
Jimmy Choo. Feed your shoe addiction at Central Florida’s Jimmy Choo store. While the Jimmy Choo cachet draws international visitors, locals love the personalized service. “We’re small and very vibrant,” sales associate Elizabeth Humpierres reports. “Each sales associate has loyal clients,” and they keep their die-hard fans happy with emails about new products and special events. Since the store is in the upscale Mall at Millenia, parking is never an issue. Open 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Saturday, noon to 7 p.m. on Sunday. Located at 4200 Conroy Road (Mall at Millenia), Orlando. Phone (407) 352-6310.
Tuni Boutique. In the chic Winter Park shopping district, Tuni Boutique is legendary. You can pick up an entire outfit or you can just concentrate on the shoes, and the shoes are well worth the visit. Service is paramount at Tuni and the selection is excellent. The boutique was voted “Best Women’s Accessories” on Orlando A-List for 2013. The on-street parking can require some patience since the store is in the heart of beautiful Winter Park. Located at 301 S. Park Avenue, Winter Park, Florida, 32789. Phone (407) 628-1609.
Looking for something funky, fun, vintage, or classic? You’ll find it at the two locations of Dechoes Resale. Owner Kerri Colangelo notes, “We’re not just funky and fun. We offer classic, high-end designer shoes that our customers want but don’t necessarily want to pay full retail for.” Locals love the selection and swear by the prices. The store has been voted “Orlando’s Best” for vintage and resale fashion for the last eight years. The original store is still located in cool College Park, with street parking. The second location is in a shopping center with ample parking. Hours 11-8 Monday through Saturday, noon to 5 on Sunday. Located at 2110 Edgewater Drive, Orlando and at 2525 E. Colonial Drive, Orlando. Phone (407) 648-7480.
Shoooz in Winter Park is the place to find stylish shoes that offer comfort and support. According to sales associate Charles Peoples, service is front and center at Shoooz, with the staff focused on finding the right shoes for you without the hard-sell. The store carries several lines, including Mephisto and Nota Bene. The atmosphere is relaxed, casual, and comfortable with parking on the street or in the store’s parking lot. Find Shoooz at 303 Park Avenue in Winter Park or call (407)647-0110. They’re open 10-6 Monday through Saturday and 12-5 on Sunday.
Just as there’s an adventure for everyone in Orlando, there’s a shoe boutique for every taste. From the sexy shoes of Jimmy Choo to the comfortable footwear at Shoooz, from Tuni Boutique’s stylish flair to the classic designer shoes at Dechoes, you’ll find the shoes you crave in Orlando.
