It seems with all of the posting of photos on social media sites, we have become a nation of amateur photographers. How many times have you had to re-take your selfie because you dropped your phone, had difficulty clicking the shutter button, cut off your head or the other person in the frame? I know I have many times. Well, help has arrived and you no longer have to hold out your arm out before it becomes tiring to ensure you have a decent photo.
HISY (pronounced HI-SEE) is a BLE (Bluetooth Low Energy) device that connects to your phone and uses its native built in shutter camera to be able to take the perfect selfie, group shot, or video from a great distance with a simple click of a button.
I was skeptical so I tested the device out for myself. I was actually surprised how simple the set up was for HISY. It only required four simple steps to get started. Go to Settings>Bluetooth>Turn on Bluetooth. Then press the HISY button so it is in Pairing Mode. “BLE Camera Remote” will pop up under Devices. Select it and press Pair. I was then ready to take pictures via Bluetooth. To activate the HISY click the button on the HISY remote device to enable the shutter to take pictures.
What’s nice about the HISY is that you can take pictures and record video by changing the mode on your camera application from “Photo” to “Video.”
HISY has a picture or video taking range from 30-90 feet away and a battery life of 2 years, based on a 100 shot per day basis.
Currently HISY is not available for Android devices and is only compatible with Apple devices that are iOS 7.0 or later. Apple iPhone 4S, 5, 5S, 5C, iPad 3rd & 4th Generation or later.
There is no internet connection needed to use HISY. Also, no app is needed, but HISY is compatible with Camera360 Ultimate, Wonder Camera, Snapseed, moreBeaute2, Picture Effect Magic, Pudding Camera, Pix and Aviary apps.
HISY retails for $24.99, and there is a model that comes with a stand which retails for $26.99.
The HISY is one of the best gadgets that I have ever received and actually quite useful to me for various projects. I am sure many of you will enjoy using the device for your pictures and videos.
