If you are using the RCA 7″ tablet, you have the option of placing widgets on one of your four home screens on your tablet. Since the widgets are a bit hidden, you may need a little help with adding widgets to your screens. If you aren’t familiar with Android devices, you might also need a little help. In this article, I will walk you through adding any widget you want to one of your four home screens on your Android tablet.
Open Your Widgets Menu on Your RCA 7″ Tablet
The first thing you will need to do is open your Widgets menu on your tablet. So, unlock your tablet and find the circle button with the six dots at the bottom of your tablet. Tap this button and look for the Apps and Widgets options at the very top of your screen. Simply tap the Widget option and the screen will change to the Widgets menu. Any time you want to view your widgets or add a new widget to one of your screens, this is where you will need to come.
Locating the Widget You Want to Add to a Home Screen
Your next step is to locate a widget that you want to add to one of the home screens of your Android tablet. You can browse through the pages of widgets by simply sliding the screen. There are a few screens of widgets for you to choose from. Each widget will have a name and preview of the widget.
Adding the Widget to a Home Screen on Your RCA 7″ Tablet
Once you have found a widget that you want to add to one of your home screens, you will need to tap and hold that widget. After tapping and holding the widget, you will see your home screens appear on your screen. While still holding your widget, slide your finger to navigate to the home screen that you want to place the widget on and let go of the widget when you are on the right screen. Your widget will now appear on that screen. You can go back and add as many widgets as you want on your home screens.
