Step by Step Guide to an at-home Hawaiian Luau

Fruit Punch Bowl- In a punch bowl combine 3 fruit punch, 2 lemon lime soda, 1 Orange Juice, and ice cubes. When ready to serve, float a rainbow sherbet on top, some come in fancy plastic mold containers. It slowly melts and creates a delicious foam in every cup.
Strawberry Kiwi Daquiris- Use your favorite recipe, just garnish with a kiwi slice and drop a strawberry in the bottom of each glass. Guests also get a nice fruit snack.
Lemon Lime Sodas served with fresh fruit spikes– Serve lemon lime soda in tall clear glasses. Ahead of time, create fruit spikes with cherries, watermelon, grapes, etc and put a fruit spike in the glass. Guests get a refreshing drink and a snack.

Thrift stores can be very useful in getting floral patterned shirts, old sheets, tablecloths, etc. than can easily be made into centerpiece doilies, napkins, place settings, or whatever you can come up with. You can put a mason jar on each table, with a votive candle in each, with hibiscus flowers in all the pretty colors, spread out all over the table centers. You can string these flowers and have them hanging around. Use colorful fish plates and serve snacks in coconut shells. Be sure to have it bright, tropical and full of color. Put lots of Pineapples and fresh fruit on all the tables. Cheese balls and crackers make great appetizers. Assorted chocolate candies in lots of colors make great favors.
