Here are some tips on how to have a great day every day. https://www.Inc.com
Getting into a good mood is not so much following some laid down rule rather it is some simple actions we take. To have a great day every day is a matter of choice. Yes, I know you are wondering what is this old lady smoking. I did not say everything is going to go as it should or everybody you meet is going to be all smiles and sunshine. However, you do not have to feed into the chaos going on around you.
Rather than read or listen to the news; take that time to listen or read something that inspires instead. Have a quiet time to listen to music, read a book or watch a talk show. Something that lifts you up and helps you feel energized.
Create a healthier you
There is no such place in your overall physical condition as staying in one place. Either you have improved or you have let your physical wellbeing slide. Make time each day to exercise and eat healthy.
Set goals for yourself and go over them every day. Where in your life’s journey do you want to be in let’s say three years, five years, ten years? Make decisions for yourself. If they turn out not right make some changes. If you are a retired person, do some kind of volunteer work. A person that has a purpose to get up each day is a happier person.
Give it forward
Look around you; there is always someone less fortunate than you are. The unhappy people are those who are self-centered and believe the world owes them. The nicest way to help someone is anonymously. For example; you are driving through the drive-thru and you get to the pay window, pay for the meal order for the one behind you. Or some restaurants have a deal where you buy two coffees and you only drink one. If a homeless person comes into the restaurant they can get a free cup of coffee.
Take time to smell the roses
Take a few minutes a couple times a week to list what you are thankful for. There are so many everyday things we take for granted. I have a friend who is on a waiting list for a double lung transplant. I take time to just breath and be grateful I can take a deep breath.
Remember, we all have to choose the kind of day we have.
