The weather is really taking a turn towards Spring if it hasn’t where you live it’s just around the corner. We are year round boaters, as we mentioned before, but if you’re not now is the time to check out the boat and get her ready. There are lots of great boat supply vendors only a click away but we are pleasantly surprised by how much you can get at your local Walmart. We are about family boating and we like to get the most for our dollar and Walmart is pretty good at meeting a boater’s needs. We know about the crowds and sometimes a line but the beauty about Walmart is it is a one stop shop any time of day or night. Embrace the Walmart I say and make life easy on yourself and spend more time in your adventure in boating!
Here’s a list of all the things we were able to find: Goggles (great to check out the boat or in an emergency to look in water for a man overboard), life jackets, floating cushions, dry bag/dry boxes, ropes/cleats, Anchors/Anchor buoy and chains, Signal flares, air horns and whistles, Fuel filters, fuel lines, Quick Silver Products (oil, fuel boosters, trim oil), Fuel tanks, Bilge pumps, Navigation lights, Marine fire extinguishers, Cup holders, Trailer supplies (bearings, rollers, jacks, lights, ball hitches, straps), Trailer tires, Boat bumpers, covers, seats, Paddles, Small coolers, Flush kits, Marine batteries, Electrical products (fuses, wiring, connectors), Tool kits, Walkie Talkies, Go Pro cameras, Spot lights/flash lights.
While you’re picking up your boat essentials you can also get sunblock, bug spray, drinks, snacks, towels, water toys, sand toys, bathing suits (no Speedos) and lunch! Walmart truly does have it all for the boating family. Get all your supplies ready and get excited about your next adventure in boating. See you on the lake!
