Over the last couple of years, metal band, Fozzy, has gone from strength to strength. Following the release of “Sin and Bones” in 2012, these bad boys of rock spent more than a year touring all over the world, spreading the “Fozzpel” to fans new and old. The band is fronted by former WWE superstar, Chris Jericho, along with the hugely talented Rich Ward, Frank Fontsere, Billy Grey, and Paul Di Leo. Now, they are back with their highly anticipated new single, “Lights Go Out”, and it is a killer tune!
The buzz around Fozzy’s new single has been immense, with the excitement building to exploding point when the band released this lyric video before the official song release on April 29th.
“Lights Go Out” is the start of a new sound for Fozzy. While it has that hard, edgy quality they are well-known for, it’s different enough for fans to understand why Chris Jericho has called their latest release a “game changer”. Naysayers may have thought Fozzy had peaked after Sin and Bones, but they were all wrong. Collectively, this is the best the band has ever sounded, and Jericho puts in a vocal performance to be proud of.
The Lights Go Out Tour 2014 has already begun, and Fozzy will be visiting numerous U.S cities until the end of May. Details can be found here. Following this, the band will be hitting the main stage at Download Fest in the UK in June, and the brand new album is scheduled for a summer release.
