My skin craves a deep and nourishing moisturizer regimen because I lap swim year-round and enjoy being outside in the sunshine. I eat well and hydrate myself, which takes care of the inside of my body. As for the outside of my body, here are some of the best skin care products I use for my dry and sensitive skin to keep it healthy and moisturized…
Four Name Brand Skin Care Finds That I Discovered at T.J. Maxx and Absolutely LOVE:
1. HEMPZ treats by HEMPZ Body Care, Made in the USA
Orange Dream Cupcake, Sugar Lemon Squares, and Strawberry Cheesecake are my all-time favorite HEMPZ treats dessert-scented body lotions. Some of the main ingredients are hemp seed oil for intense moisture, and natural honey and vanilla extracts for their antioxidant properties. Free of parabens, too, this body lotion is like a sweet treat for my dry skin.
T.J. Maxx Price: $10 for 18.6 fl ounces (LP: $20)
2. TimeBalm Rich & Wrinkle Free Trio Skincare by theBalm cosmetics, Made in the USA
This must-have skin care trio for normal to dry skin includes White Tea Cranberry Invigorating Eye Cream that deeply moisturizes the eye area. Plus, there’s a little dose of caffeine that helps tired eyes to look more awake. As for the White Tea Hazelnut Vitamin E Face Cream, I ran out of this first. It’s that good!
The Coconut Milk Cleansing Cream is by far one of the best natural face cleansers out there. I especially like how it soothes my skin after I take off eye makeup because most makeup remover products tend to irritate my sensitive skin.
I respect everything about theBalm’s product line because it’s “free” from ALL the bad stuff like parabens and phthalates.
T.J. Maxx Price: $40 (LP: $111)
3. Sukin Moisture Restoring NIGHT CREAM by Sukin Organics, Made in Australia
What a T.J. Maxx find this is! I use this organic night cream as a day cream, too, because I get a burning heat rash with most products that add SPF to their daytime face creams. This night cream is perfect for all skin types and smells like sweet candy. The basic and natural ingredients include rose hip oil, evening primrose oil, and borage oil. These oils help skin with moisture retention and elasticity. Paraben-free, vegan, and carbon neutral… the “good stuff” list goes on.
T.J. Maxx Price: $8 for 4.06 fl ounces (LP: $20)
4. Almond & Vanilla Salt Scrub by Crystal Line Health & Beauty, Made in Israel
Made with Dead Sea Salts and Almond Vanilla Oil, this aromatic salt scrub is comparative to the treatments used at professional day spas. The minerals are 100% natural, and are from the renowned Dead Sea. Grape Seed Oil and Olive Oil are also beneficial ingredients in this Crystal Line salt scrub that I use gently on my face, and on my body.
T.J. Maxx Price: $8 for 23.98 fl ounces (LP: $12)
I have learned that if you find any of these name brand skin care products at T.J. Maxx, then get them while you can because the inventory ever-changes and the products certainly move fast.
