Here are some tips on food that will help men with their efforts at weight loss and fat burning. I have sited places so that you can get even more valuable information to help you burn that fat and get to your weight loss goals.
Milk – In a study that spanned over a six month period, overweight men were given three servings of milk or calcium rich beverage, three times a day and a select few were given one or no servings per day. The group drinking three glasses of milk lost more belly fat, you will not get the same results by taking supplements. Not only will this white substance burn fat it will also build muscle. This study was was undergone at the University of Tennessee. Low fat or fat free milks are highly recommended as you may have seen advertised by Christie Brinkley for the Drink Well, Live Well, gotmilk? campaign.
Hot peppers – These fiery little devils contain an ingredient called capsaicin, this is what gives them their heat, the same heat that helps you melt away calories. Eat them raw if you dare and their are those who can or enjoy them in recipes like salsa which is delicious as a dip or on top of your eggs. Did you know that peppers are actually a fruit and yes, they can help those pounds melt away.
Flax seed, Oats and Barley – When you eat these types of whole grains your body must work twice as hard to break them down which results in more calories burned which results in more fat burned. Be sure to stay away from processed foods, these are already broken down and your body will not have to work as hard and you will not see the results.
Apple Cider Vinegar – Considered “the magic ingredient” by some this not only taste great on many foods it will help you burn fat. It was found that when obese men were given 1 to 2 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar each day, it would result in a body and belly fat loss where there was no loss in the group that was given a placebo or “fake” ingredient. This gem stops the body from storing the fat you take in while at the same time it’s burning ability is boosted to new levels.
