EASTER EGG HUNT Fremont Presbyterian is offering a free Easter Egg hunt that is open to all children from birth age to the 5th grade. This will be a wonderful event for those who either cannot do an egg hunt at their place, or just want to get their kids a little extra practice before the big day. There will also be many other fun events, from face painting, to bounce houses.

WAG HOTELS’ 5TH ANNUAL EASTER EGG HUNT FOR DOGS Are you dogs jealous that the kids get all the fun? How about letting them do their own Easter Egg hunt? Wag Hotels is making this happen. Snack on some finger foods and check out some local vendors while your dogs have the time of their life sniffing out eggs filled with treats and other prizes. There will even be some opportunities for photos with the Easter Bunny. This event is fun for human and canine alike!

“LIVING HISTORY” EASTER BONNET PROMENADE AND SPRING BALL Want to take a step into the past and celebrate Easter the way you’re grandparents did? Look no further than the Sacramento History Museum. They will be celebrating Easter the only way they know how: in the past. This event is for all ages. Put on your best Easter clothes and celebrate an Old Sacramento type of Easter.

THE WHIP, HAMMER, AND CROSS This performance piece uses a combination of dance, music, drama, and much more to tell the story of the three instruments that were used during the time when Jesus Christ was tortured. KING OF KINGS Grant High School is bringing in Easter a week early with a showing of the 1927 classic “King of Kings.” This performances is bringing back the often forgotten art of a live pipe organ playing during a movie. Mr. Walt Strony will be playing along with the movie for it’s entire duration.
