Try these cheesecake recipes, slow cooker cheesecake, gingersnap Berry Dessert, Mallow Cranberry, Winning Cranberry or Grasshopper Cheesecake. Whichever one you choose you will be happy with the results and your family will love you for making such a delicious dessert.
Very Vanilla Slow Cooker Cheesecake – I would never think you would make a cheesecake in a crockpot, but they do just that over at Taste of Home. It has a wonderful graham cracker crust, silky, smooth cheesecake and delicious chocolate dripping down the sides, topped with slivered almonds. Even thought this says it’s very vanilla, I add an addition teaspoon of vanilla. I do this in most recipes that call for vanilla.
Gingersnap Berry Dessert – A perfect summer recipe that is loaded with fresh fruit, this dessert is very patriotic with its red strawberries, white filling and blueberries. This recipe includes walnuts and for those that don’t care for that paticuliar nut, you can substitue any other nut you do enjoy. My favorite part of this recipe is the gingersnaps, they give it a delicious and unique flavor.
Mallow Cranberry Cheesecake – With a graham cracker crust, finely chopped macadamia nuts and mallow cream, this recipe has my attention. You have the option of adding sugar coated cranberries to the top of this dessert which also gives it a beautiful and professional look in my opinion.
Winning Cranberry Cheesecake – Don’t wait until the holidays to make this cheesecake. It is the perfect complement to the holiday season with the addition of cranberries and eggnog. What a great idea to add in the eggnog, which will be a big hit with my husband who loves drinking it when it is around during the holiday season. Setting this out at the beginning of your meal is a good way to remind your guests to save room for dessert.
Grasshopper Cheesecake – I remember a drink my mother mentioned when I was a child called a grasshopper which was a pretty green drink. Coming across this recipe was a great find and I am sure mom would have loved it. This is like eating cookies and cream, but in a whole new way. This cake gets its green color from the green creme de menthe that is added to it.
There you have five great cheesecake ideas for you to cook up in your kitchen. Make one of these as your next dessert choice and surprise your family with something new, it just may become their next favorite dessert.
