First it is very important to find an Avon Independent Sales Rep that you can trust to always look out for you as their number one customer first.
With the internet at our tips, it is easy to find a nationwide rep or a local rep with ease that can fill your needs the same.
What are you looking for in a rep? Here is what I would be looking for: someone that is close to my age choices being: young, middle age, or older. This is important because younger reps might not be as concerned with skin care and be very concerned about the latest fashion of makeup. While if you are looking for a younger rep to do facials and such – you might not get that for an older age rep.
If you want to keep up with your rep through Facebook and email, there might be a generation gap. Also there might be a conversational gap. I do feel that every rep acting as a professional should be able to serve any customer at any age. However, that doesn’t seem to be the case in the world of sales.
Is it important for you to be able to see your rep face to face? Some nationwide reps, like myself, offer to send your catalogs through the mail with a small gift and samples depending on your order size. So a nationwide rep could very well meet your needs.
So, at this point you know what age, if specific you might be looking for and does the rep need to be local or could a good quality nationwide rep serve you possibly even better.
At this point we would go to http://www.avon.com and look for a representative. You could also look up the nearest district office on Google, call the number, and someone will help you or get back with you soon.
After you have chosen a rep, the best thing to do is to call/email him/her and start a business relationship. You can look through the brochures at http://youravon.com/(theirname…. ) and have a few things picked out to ask questions about. But let me tell you, there is nothing better than getting a brochure to look at. It will have places where you rub your wrist so that you get a scent to smell and it is very warm and inviting. However, if you find a Nationwide Rep that does not mind sending you box of brochures at one time to look at it would not cost much for the rep because he/she could mail those about once per month. In the mean time, you can shop online, in person, through email and on the phone – well, Facetime is an option as well.
