As an avid fan of sportsm such as golfing, soccer, bowling and racing, I am always up for a little bit of competition. I enjoy being able to act out my screams at watching the actual sports on television. I do believe that my family prefers the video games for me rather than sitting through an actual game on television. Some of my favorite franchise sports games and what I get out of them are:
Wii Sports – There is nothing better than getting a little exercise in with the Wii Sports games. This set f games offers hours of fun and laughter as we putt, dunk and roll our way into an exercise and competition packed family night. Take a moment to play tennis, bowl a perfect game or even drive a ball home with a nine iron not typically meant for the feats you challenge it too.
Grand Theft Auto – Come on baby, feel the need for speed as you race through the course in an effort to capture the won. Fight off vicious dogs, gun toting criminals and even the occasional blonde bombshell looking to infiltrate your victory.
Need For Speed– Race your top of the line custom designed dream car and evade the police. Don’t get caught, you will lose everything. Bank your successes to become the hero. Need to take a break, find the hideout to get the law off your behind. There is nothing that you can’t do once you master the tricks of the trade.
Winning Eleven/Pro Evolution Soccer– Konami know how to light that fire under you as you take on the world championships in the soccer world. Stop the opposing team from taking control of the ball. Outsmart them with skills and techniques that only a true soccer fan would know. Take home that trophy, at any cost.
Tony Hawk- Play one of the many versions and release of Tony Hawk to become the skateboard champion. Make this skate boarding champion proud to call you a team mate, or would you rather be the completion. Either way you have control of the board as you rail through the mazes. Do you have what it takes to bring home the win?
Playing the franchise sports versions of video games allows you to not only take on the characters, but it also allows you to follow the story line into successive wins and tricks. Hold on tight as you enact all the tips you once threw out to the television. Live that fantasy and see if your tips come out in the play by play scenarios.
