Earth Day Indiana – This is a free outdoor event, which is a family-oriented event promoting environmental awareness and conservation of natural resources. There are more than 130 exhibits, live music, children’s crafts and entertainment, a display of alternative fuel vehicles, food vendors and much more. This event is Indiana’s one of the biggest events and is being held at White River State Park on April 26 between 11 AM and 4 PM. If you are looking to instill environmental consciousness into your kids, this is a perfect opportunity where kids can learn about nature hands on.
Earth Day Community Celebration at JCC – Another family-friendly Earth Day event which has a variety of activities, around 50 exhibitors, live music, food trucks, local artisans, and much more. Sponsored by Indianapolis Power and Light Company, this event is held on April 27 between 1-4 PM and is a free event. You can learn about recycling and there are several hands on learning activities to help you learn about your community and environment.
Speedway Earth Day 5K – If you are into running and want to spend a day running for a good cause, then this event is for you. You and your family and friends can plan to attend this 5K walk/run on April 26 between 1 PM – 4 PM at Speedway. This is a second annual event which is a fundraiser for American Cancer Society. Earthy Art Show – Held at Nickel Plate Arts Campus, this is an art show where you can enjoy nature and art together on Earth Day. From April 14 to May 2, people can come in for a free event where they can see art displays at the Noblesville City Hall and the Stephenson House at Nickel Plate Arts.
