The Clippers, still the younger brother to the Los Angeles Lakers; have been a laughing stock until Chris Paul was signed back in the 2011-12 season. Now in the 2013-14 season, the Clippers are arguably the best team in the west, and it has started with the rise of Blake Griffin. Doc Rivers knows what it takes to win a championship because he has done it before. Now with the best point guard in the league in Chris Paul, the surging Blake Griffin, and the supporting cast built around them he should push them over the edge to win it all.
The Clippers have been going through injuries, which is the only thing that could stop them from winning. They need their key players: JJ Reddick, Jamal Crawford, Daren Collison, and the rest to stay healthy, so they can win it all. Injuries happens to all great teams, and they usually cost that team a championship.
The Clippers have to get out the second round, and since the Clippers average nearly 108 points per game; I have no problem with their offense. If the playoffs started now, the Clippers would be going up against the Golden State Warriors; who can also put up an offensive fight. I’ll pick the Clippers to win because they can get stops against Golden State, but after that, the Clippers will soon have to knock off the Western Conference champs; the San Antonio Spurs.
