Since ancient times, women tried to figure out the best ways to preserve or enhance their looks. According to numerous legends, famous beauties like Cleopatra and Nefertiti discovered the ways to preserve their looks throughout their lives; in my case, the work is in progress.
I am an advocate of natural products for my body and face, and DIY facial peels I would prefer over the chemical ones. In my opinion, they are safer and healthier alternatives to use.
Here are my five DIY homemade facial peels:
Cucumber mask is one of the simplest ways to keep your face fresh, healthy, moisturized, and clean and is easy to make.
Ingredients: 1/2 cucumber, 1 tbsp. of yogurt.
Preparation: Peel the cucumber; pure it in the mixing bowl. Add the yogurt. Mix well. Apply the mixture to your face and leave it on for 15 minutes. Wash it off with the cold water.
Avocado mask is great to tone and hydrate your skin, especially during winter.
Ingredients: 1/2 avocado, 2 tbsps. of honey, 1 egg yolk.
Preparation: Scoop out the soft part of avocado; pure it in the mixing bowl. Add yellow yolk and honey to the mixture; mix well. Apply the mixture to your face and leave it on for 20 minutes. Wash it off with the warm water.
Oatmeal mask is good to sooth and reduce wrinkles.
Ingredients: 1 tbsp. of almond oil, juice from 1/2 lemon, 2 tbsps. of oatmeal, 1 egg white.
Preparation: In the mixing bowl, squeeze lemon, add oatmeal, egg white, and almond oil. Mix well. Apply the mixture to your face and leave it on for 30 minutes. If you have a sensitive skin, leave the paste for 15 minutes. Rinse it off with the warm water.
Pore cleansing mask is deliciously sweet.
Ingredients: 1/2 cup of ripe strawberries, 1 tbsp. of milk, 1 tsp. of rice powder.
