Loss of Faith
“But concerning that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, nor the Son, but the Father only. Matthew 24:36
For the Vatican, this day is not coming. They have given up hope, and have even said that most likely Jesus was drunk when he made the comments. This comment came from Cardinal Giorgio Salvadore. The Vatican will stop waiting for the Lord’s return. So what now? What do Christians have to look forward to if this is our way back home?
True Christians will always believe that he will return because he only spoke the truth. There is not one promise he made that has failed. We should never leave our true faith and belief in a religious organization. Religions are only the interpretation of the group as a whole, and individuals. The story of Jesus has been past down generation to generation. Some parts kept, others omitted without reason. We are to live the basics of Christ’s teaching.
Recently, a part of the Bible was discovered that was left out of the original book. It’s not the only one. The most important thing to do is trust what you believe to be the truth. Follow his commandments. Live your life as he would, but know that you will sin and you can be forgiven. You are eternally loved. The Shepard never leaves even a single lamb in the wilderness. He loves and cares for all. If he said he will return he will. It may not be in our lifetime. No one knows the day, but at all times you must be ready.
