I know you shouldn’t speak badly of others, but these GOP policies are ruining “the beacon of hope for a despairing world”. The 99% can’t prosper with these economic policies the GOP espouses.
Remember the Steppenwolf song “The Pusher”? The lyrics :
“You know, I’ve seen a lot of people walkin’ ’round
With tombstones in their eyes
But the pusher don’t care
Ah, if you live or if you die
God damn , The Pusher
God damn, I say The Pusher
I said God damn, God damn The Pusher man” capture the utter disdain the GOP has those who aren’t fortunate enough to be in the top 1% and my hatred of them for their callous indifference to us.
Being honest in your hatred of GOP policies isn’t the poll tested way to go. It isn’t politically correct or expedient. One particular Democrat found this out the hard way. The GOP attacked Alan Grayson and he lost his Congressional seat.
The June 2011 article “Alan Grayson was Correct in that the GOP Wants the Bottom 99% to Get Sick and Die Quickly,” illustrated that some Democrats can’t stand GOP policies and just couldn’t mildly comment on them.
The extreme rights policies are abhorrent. I say we need people like Alan Grayson. We need people to be truthful, not just political correct milksops.
The GOP policies are despicable in so many ways, but let’s just concentrate on the economy.
The article “Joe Biden Attacks Paul Ryan Budget For Favoring The Wealthy” spells out the latest tactic of how the GOP is putting its boot on the neck of the 99%!
Is the “Party of No” proposing policies to help the 99% in this dangerous economy? The answer in a word is NO!
The article states “Biden attacked the budget plan by Rep. Paul Ryan – his GOP counterpart on the 2012 vice presidential ballot – as being tilted in favor of the wealthy and shortchanging investments in infrastructure, education and health research. He said it reflects “an orthodoxy that devalued … paychecks. They tilted the tax code in favor of unearned income, over-earned income, inherited wealth over take-home pay.””
Let’s look at just a few of Biden’s points. We need to give many of our citizens jobs repairing our crumbling infrastructure. The GOP as Biden accurately said possesses “”an orthodoxy that devalued … paychecks.”
How is the common Joe on the street going to keep his family afloat if the GOP won’t pass legislation that values him having take-home pay?
It is an “orthodoxy” as Biden said. All GOP politicians favor the fat cats and it isn’t something new as previous Ryan’s proposed budgets have just as deviously favored the top 1%
Is damning the GOP policies extreme? Not at all when you realize what they have done, and what they would do, to those who aren’t the fortunate few.
