Is your little girl a music lover, decorate the area with old 45’s often available at thrift stores for next to nothing. Use fish line the hang the records from the ceiling with a piece of tape. In between the records tape some silver curled ribbons to accent the area. Approx Cost $10
Do they have favorite bands, singers and such? Use small stencils and decorating icing to spell out the band names around the cake and print out the bands photo on plain paper, lay a piece of wax paper in the middle of the cake and place the picture on the wax paper and pipe icing around it. Karokee Machine– Someone you know must have one in their home or garage that they would be willing to allow you to use. Girls love getting all giggly and acting out the latest and best lyrics and dance moves. Want to make it more entertaining, offer prizes for dance off’s, least mistakes, and such. Costume Party– Ask guests to dress up as their favorite singer, make it a costume party. Take votes and declare a winner for best dressed, hair etc.. DeeJay– Don’t rent a DJ to streaming entertainment. When invitations go out, ask for their favorite song, artist and such. Paper Supplies– Solid color plates, napkins in her favorite colors. Cost $5
Snacks– Chips, dip, pretzels or even some cheese curls. Buy name brand for your biggest savings. Cost: Under $10
Soda– A few two liter bottles is your best bet. Cost $8
Food– Go with the usual hot dogs, hamburgers or even taco’s with all the trimmings set neatly in separate bowls. Total Cost: $25
Overall expected cost: Under $70, truly a wonderful party at a decent price. Lower the bar in these over the top parties that serve no purpose other than to waste money. Popularity is best gained through creativity.
