What people consider funny changes vastly from individual to individual. Some people prefer a very family friendly comedy from artist such as Bill Cosby or Jerry Seinfeld or maybe you prefer racial humor such as Carlos Mercia or Richard Pryor, but no matter what you enjoy one thing is certain and that is that we all like, love, and in a lot of ways need, to laugh and today and in the following weeks hopefully I will be sharing with you the people who make me laugh.
Today’s review is one of my personal favorites, Doug Stanhope. Now Doug is a bit of a shock comic and a bit of a political comic but over all, whatever he is, he is a great deal of fun. Though he certainly isn’t for everyone due to his blatant disregard for political correctness and vulgar sense of humor he certainly takes most mainstream comedians to the cleaners in imagination, and additionally he is part of a rare breed of comedians who actually have a point. His humor is mostly directed at what others think is appropriate or for that matter inappropriate and how backwards people are about everything. I personally suggest if you have an open mind and like a good joke about beating up ambulance drivers to listen to his album Across the Street which can be found on Spotify along with the rest of his albums, which I also highly recommend.
