I saw best men and women
with their corporate attire
At the front of the courtroom
when the final verdict was announced.
I thought justice has been served
but then I heard, “Not guilty!”
And a silence was broke,
It was a victory of the culprits.
I saw victims cried constantly
And offenders’ hearts have no remorse
With armed men on their sides
Who have high-powered ammunition.
Juries were totally deaf and dumb,
Afraid for their lives
And blinded by the money,
Disobeying their own conscience.
These poor but courageous people
Who have unanswered prayers
Will be the next target soon
by these mass murderers.
