Nashville, Tennessee is of course known as Music City, USA to many outsiders that come to visit for the many concerts that are constantly occurring in the capital of the Volunteer State. However, all those tourists rarely know where to go to eat before or after the entertainment is over. There are plenty of choices in the downtown area, but everyone should make sure they make at least one visit to Demos’ Steakhouse in downtown Nashville (although Demo’s has several locations throughout middle Tennessee).
This steakhouse on Commerce street prides itself on steak and seafood that is second to no other in the South. The steaks are cooked to perfection where the A1 steak sauce is not even needed when you slice into this juicy piece of beef. As for the seafood, Demos; serves up all kinds of different platters but it is their Mexican Spaghetti that is a must for anyone that only has one opportunity to dine in. If you can’t decide between the steak or seafood, that is perfectly okay, because they have an extremely wide selection of steak and seafood platters to choose from. Make sure you get here early; otherwise, you could be waiting for up to an hour.
While the food is amazing at Demos;, it is the service that truly sets them apart from other eateries in the area. The servers are paid well to know their stuff, and they are all very loyal. Many of the staff have been employed at Demo’s for over a decade because they know this restaurant has gotten it right when it comes to customer service. If you need anything, the entire staff is there to help out with each others’ tables, if need be. Also, for the quality of food and service you are receiving the menu prices are extremely reasonable. It is very easy to keep the total price of the meal under $30 for two people.
After dinner, Mike’s ice cream is a great place to satisfy your sweet craving after this savory dinner. Do yourself a favor and eat at Demos’ the next time you are in the middle Tennessee area.
