If you need to still get gifts for your groomsmen and your wedding’s almost here, don’t worry. Here are four really great last-minute wedding gifts for groomsmen.
1. Pocket knives.
This is actually what my husband gave his groomsmen for our wedding. The great thing about these is that they are relatively inexpensive and are something that will actually be used after the wedding. There are variations of pocketknives and some have different features. Some have bottle openers attached while others are simpler and will only contain the knife. For the most basic types you can get one for around $10. You shouldn’t have to spend more than 50 dollars on each one. You can get pocket knives at a local sporting goods store, a hunting shop, or a specialty shop. Just make sure you don’t accidentally buy a butterfly knife because those are illegal. Your best bet is getting them at a shop where the employees know information about the different kinds of knives.
2. Gift cards.
Gift cards are the go-to gifts for any occasion when you need something last minute. You don’t even have to go to the specific store in which you want the gift card for. Many stores have gift card kiosks where they have a very large selection of all types of gift cards. Some stores that have these kiosks are Sam’s Club, CVS, and WalMart. You can get gift cards for restaurants, stores, and even online currency, such as points for video games or digital media. You’re sure to find a gift card that pleases all the different groomsmen in your bridal party. This also lets them get something they truly will want and use.
3. Imported beer and stein.
If the groomsmen are known to be drinkers it might be special to get them a beer that’s not commonly found. Fortunately you can find specialty beer and matching steins at the local Beverages & More or a store that’s equivalent to that. Many times there will also be gift sets already packaged up at these specialty alcoholic beverage stores. The drink is for them to drink now while the cup or stein will be a memento they can hold onto and use many times afterwards.
4. Tickets to a show.
This doesn’t have to be expensive if you don’t want it to be. You can even get tickets to a movie for yourself and all your groomsmen. This is a great gift because it is a bonding experience that will create memories that will last for a long time. You can decide to get tickets to an event, or show, before or after the wedding, but make sure it’s just you and the groomsmen. You should also make it clear that this is not the bachelor party. This is why you might want to do something grander, such as tickets to a concert or event that you will all enjoy.
