The best thing about your first car is having that sense of pride and ownership. When you get your first car all you want to do is drive by yourself on the open road without one of your parents in your ear telling you how to drive. When I first got my license, I was ecstatic even though I didn’t want to admit it to my aunt. Thank you, auntie. But through all my trials and tribulations, I have one of the most reliable cars you could ever have.
My first car was and still is a 1994 Toyota Corolla. It was given to me by my grandfather. Thank you grandaddy. I myself have about two hundred eight thousand miles! My grandfather says that my Toyota Corolla had over three drivers. I am the fourth driver. My car already has over six hundred thousand miles on it all together! And still running!
When I first got my car I was a really unexperienced driver. In my area where I stay there is a place called Beckor Farm. In that area there are a lot of sharp curves and turns. The speed limit is twenty five in that area but I was going about thirty five. I came around a corner too fast and hit the curb. I really did think I messed something major up on my car. As I proceeded to drive I pulled over to check to see if I did any damage. The car was running just fine and there was little cosmetic wear done to the side skirt.
Another time was when I was on my way to the court and hit a deer. I hit the deer and he flew over top of my car. I was petrified and mad at the same time. I was cursing the dead deer out because of the condition of my car. But my Toyota Corolla was still riding. I made it to court and back. In addition the only thing that the deer damaged was my headlight which was replaced and the hood was dented. But I still have no problems with my car.
Most of my parts are from when the was first made. Toyota is a great car. If you ever considered buying a car; I recommend that you buy a Toyota. In my eyes they are the most reliable car on the market!
