The Dugout Bar – This neighborhood bar is close to several corporate offices in Indianapolis and is great for informal get-togethers with friends after work. The place has a low key atmosphere and serves some great food such as pizza. They have a great bar usually filled with locals along with giant screens for watching sports with friends. They have decent selection of beers and a good jukebox for some music. They also offer private parking on their lot.
Bud’s Tavern – Located in Indianapolis, this dive bar offers great food and beer along with private booths and video games and pool tables. They offer outside patio tables when weather is nice. The décor is very nice with racing memorabilia. They offer karaoke on Wednesdays and Saturdays and the staff are very friendly.
Alley’s Cat Lounge– This is a classic dive bar with convenient prices and low key atmosphere. This bar is located in an alley as name suggests and has warm and friendly staff. Alley Cat has all of your dive bar stereotypes: jukebox, pool table, yellow-ish lighting, cash only, cheap drinks and casual atmosphere. Open until 3 AM this is a perfect place to get-together with friends at night to shoot some pools and have drinks together.
Lockerbie Pub – Located at Michigan Street, Lockerbie pub is one of our favorite places to grab a dinner and/or a drink. They have a good selection of beers and good menu. The service might be a little slow but they are warm and friendly. It is a good place for meeting friends, shoot some darts or pool and just have some good time with no frills.
